Cuốn sách nói về lịch sử của thiết kế đồ họa. Nhà thiết kế muốn thu hút khán giả bằng trải nghiệm kể chuyện sinh động hơn, đồng thời giúp họ hiểu cuốn sách dễ dàng hơn. Để thu hút sự quan tâm của khán giả, tăng thêm tính tương tác cho cuốn sách, nhà thiết kế làm cho cuốn sách trông giống như một di tích văn hóa có lịch sử lâu đời, cuốn sách này cố gắng hướng dẫn khán giả đeo găng tay chống bụi và cầm bút và kính lúp, hành động như một nhà khảo cổ học để nghiên cứu lịch sử. Unique Properties: The content of the book is about the history of graphic design. The book design inspired by archaeology. Designer make the book look like have long history as cultural relics. He choose unusual book design to guide the audience to wear dust prevention gloves and take up brush and magnifier, act like archaeologist to research the history. It is a book that requires the audience’s actions and also to be handled and experienced.
Dimensions & Packaging: Width 220 mm x Height 200 mm, 15 independent pages with package box.

Design Challenge: It was a very urgent design case which only have one week to realized from concept to the real book. It was big challenge for designer.

He make the pages independent and mark the page number on each paper, he burning the edge of the page and sprinkle white powder on the pages, which make it look like have long history as cultural relics. he make the text word size too small to invisible, The unusual layout design to guide the audience to wear dust prevention gloves and take up brush and magnifier, act like archaeologist to research the history.
Inspiration: Designer want to engage audience in a more dynamic narrative experience and help them at the same time to understand the book more easily. he make the pages independent and mark the page number on each paper, he burning the edge of the page and sprinkle white powder on the pages, which make it look like have long history as cultural relics. The text word size also designed too small to invisible on purpose, which is have to use magnifier to read. This unusual book design will guide the audience act like archaeologist to research the history.
Project Duration: The project started in January 2013 in Hangzhou and finished in January 2013 in Hangzhou.
