About Remembrances in Light Nhà Tang Lễ

Remembrances in Light là một nhà tang lễ hai tầng được xây dựng bên cạnh một lò hỏa táng truyền thống. Các phòng tang lễ được bố trí theo cấu hình hình chữ nhật, mở ra tầm nhìn phía trước và phía sau ra bên ngoài. Nội thất tuân theo thẩm mỹ đương đại thay vì phong cách Trung Hoa truyền thống. Ánh sáng được sử dụng như một phương tiện biểu tượng cho sự tái sinh của cuộc sống. Mặt tiền được tạo thành từ lưới kim loại màu xám đậm và kính từ sàn đến trần. Sảnh đón kết hợp sàn đá cẩm thạch trắng với các bức tường cong màu trắng và hệ thống chiếu sáng ẩn, tạo nên một không gian tiếp đón sáng sủa và trang nghiêm.

Unique Properties: This two-story funeral home is built next to a traditional crematorium. Funeral cubicles are placed in a rectangular configuration, displaying the front and rear views towards outside. The overall design exhibits trendy, contemporary aesthetics instead of ancient and traditional Chinese styles. This space uses light as a medium to symbolize the rebirth of life, bringing an end to a long farewell.

Production Technology: Tile, Ceramic plate, Super wear-resistant wood floor, Natural veneer, Imported wallpaper, Smart, Iron, Mirror and glass.
Design Challenge: Cold metal frames, polished marble beneath, and a wall engraved with horizontal lines and interweaving bricks in the back, all come together with the dimming light from the bottom, highlighting a multifaceted and multidimensional vision in the space. This area is can also be used as a large-scaled farewell venue. On which life beliefs and achievements can be hung, holds a condensed life story to be honored in this room, transforming memories into the most sincere blessings.
Research: As the main farewell venue, the interior of the upper floor contains an open waiting area and ceremonial spaces of various sizes. Light comes in from the entire wall of windows allowing mourners to wait in a bright and natural environment while reminiscing deeper memories. With a Zen-like design, one witnesses a farewell to life, marking a starting point of a new journey.
Inspiration: The variations of lights and shadows paint the horizon between life and death, earth and heaven. The zero hour passes by in a quiet and solemn space. The design technique utilizes linear visuals and touches of nature to create the illusion of an intermediary realm between earth and heaven. The dim, penetrating rays simulate light in the moment of walking towards daybreak and the fire of the netherworld. Under this threshold, people’s hearts illuminate in hope and reminiscence.
Project Duration: The beginning of contact was April 5, 2021.
The construction time was July 15, 2021.
The completion time is December 25, 2021.
Operation Flow: The dark gray metal grille is combined with a floor-to-ceiling glass at the building facade to create a modern appearance, simple and neat. Stepping into the foyer, one appreciates the white marble floor connected to white arc walls. Concealed in the intersection of the walls and ceilings, the hidden light creates a bright and solemn vibe in the reception area, painting a clean and rich entrance like that of an art gallery.
