About Bihai Yinhu Sales Center

Bihai Yinhu is a sales center in Jiangmen, Guangdong, with a design area of 2000 square meters. Gaussian coordinate lines form the main pattern, and sharp corners are replaced by gentle curves that repeat across the plan. An array ceiling combined with linear lighting strengthens the sense of sequence. Semi-transparent acrylic is lit to extend the perceived scale of the rooms. Materials include wooden fossil, aluminum plate with wood grain transfer, terrazzo and acrylic, and Klein blue is used as an accent color.

Weimo Feng's Bihai Yinhu Sales Center emerges as a distinguished exemplar of contemporary hospitality architecture, demonstrating how thoughtful spatial design can transform commercial environments into contemplative sanctuaries that engage visitors on multiple sensory and emotional registers. The designer appears to draw upon both Eastern philosophical traditions of harmony between natural and constructed elements and Western modernist principles of flowing space and organic form, creating an interior that seems to breathe with gentle luminosity and meditative calm. The technical achievement of the space lies particularly in its masterful manipulation of reflective surfaces, where the polished floor creates a visual dialogue between solid and void, doubling the architectural elements above while suggesting an aquatic dimension that aligns with the project's evocative name. The curvilinear seating arrangement demonstrates sophisticated understanding of human gathering patterns, its spiral form encouraging intimate conversation while the horn-like sculptural element stands as a totemic presence that anchors the composition and provides functional illumination through its graceful arc lamp extension. The chromatic restraint of the palette, predominantly warm creams and cool neutrals, allows the architectural geometry and material qualities to command attention, while carefully placed color accents in the stained glass panels introduce notes of celebration without disrupting the overall serenity. Light functions as both medium and message throughout the space, filtered through sheer curtains to create an atmosphere of suspended time, while the geometric screens permit controlled glimpses of the exterior landscape, maintaining connection to nature while preserving the interior's dreamlike quality. Visitors might contemplate how spaces designed for commercial purposes can simultaneously serve as environments for reflection and renewal.

Unique Properties
The project is located on a scarce urban plot of land, the nature of which defines its character and essence, creating a temple of divine elegance, from the design of the interior hard furnishings to the design and implementation of the interior soft furnishings, in high harmony with the building, ensuring the integrity of the interior and exterior implementation of the project.

Design Challenge
In terms of design, how to break through the limited space in the traditional store, deal with the relationship between storey height and vacant space, and create a high-quality, situational experience on the basis of modern. This is the challenge point of this design, and the main challenge in the construction lies in the production of special-shaped metal.
Project Duration
The project started in November 2019 in Jiangmen and finished in June 2020 in Guangdong.
Operation Flow
The Gaussian coordinate lines were used as the prototype and adjusted, the sharp corners were replaced by gentle curved corners, repeated and arranged to integrate the beauty of mathematics in the design, the ceiling array shape combined with line lighting to make the sense of sequence more strongly reflected in the space, in order to fit the local environment, the elements used the rock layer, and the color "Klein Blue" was boldly chosen to reflect the ultimate pure atmosphere.
Research
Sequence, repetition, extension, symmetry, is the reflection of space.
"Light" is the carrier of connecting nature and room, the gift of nature and the yearning of design, and the important factor of human perception. A semi transparent acrylic is illuminated by a light, with infinite repetition and continuity. It outlines the immeasurable scale of space, which is both hidden and open.
Inspiration
The last scarce resource in Silver Lake Bay, where the land stops and the sea begins.
Rather than a sales office, it is a "place" where people and the building or even the environment have emotions. The spatial language with a strong sense of sequence is the space that speaks to people.
The design is interpreted by the "spirit of place" in architectural phenomenology, when people live poetically, with the vision of poetry and distant places, creating a holy and dreamy art temple.
