About Smart Center TV Application
Smart Center is a mobile application that remotely controls Wi-Fi enabled Vestel smart televisions. The application shows broadcast schedules and detailed program information. Users can record programs to watch later, set reminders and share mobile content on the television screen. Voice control, channel list creation and media mirroring between phone and television are also included. Features are grouped into a main menu, remote control, television guide, applications and settings. A dark interface and a grid layout reduce eye strain and support easy reading.
Vestel UX/UI Design Group's Smart Center TV Application represents a distinguished achievement in second-screen interface design, emerging from the contemporary tradition of mobile-first entertainment experiences that seek to transform passive viewing into active, personalized engagement with television content and connected home ecosystems. The application demonstrates sophisticated understanding of information architecture principles, organizing complex functionality across distinct interface territories that maintain visual coherence through consistent application of a refined dark-mode color system punctuated by strategically deployed chromatic accents serving clear hierarchical purposes. The technical accomplishment evident in the remote control interface reveals careful attention to touch target optimization and gestural ergonomics, presenting familiar physical remote paradigms translated into digital form while expanding capabilities through contextual adaptation unavailable in traditional hardware solutions. - Vestel UX Group do user researches and A/B testing according to appropriate user group for defining exact user needs and related project guidelines. UX Group, after creating user journey maps, combines them with suitable interfaces for create better user experiences for Vestel smart device’s users. While designing these interfaces, user research insights, emotional impacts, usage scenarios, various design architecture systems and actual design trends are considered.

- Operation Flow
- Smart Center has an easy-to-understand and usable UX and UI design, and information architecture. SmartCenter gathers relevant features under different gorups such as Main Menu which includes primetime programs and their details, Remote Control, TV Guide, Applications and Settings. All these menus meet different needs of TV users. Users can remotely turn on/off and control their connected TVs by Remote Control feature. It also offers program suggestions to the user according to previous choices.
- Research
- The dark interface is designed for a comfortable use that will not be tiring for the user while controlling the TV. Since the remote control feature is similar to the generic control elements and aspects universal, standard rules, the user can easily and intuitively control their television. The grid structured layout of SmartCenter provides user to follow TV guide and view program details easily while strengthening eye tracking.
- Inspiration
- Vestel Smart Center is an easy-to-use remote controller mobile application developed for Vestel Smart televisions. Standard remote controls are very limited for controlling a TV. that has various smart features. This causes deficiencies in the interaction between users and TVs. SmartCenter mobile app is designed and developed for improving this interaction. In addition to basic remote control features SmartCenter offers voice control, creating channel list, mirroring media between phone and TV.
