Isihlalo se-Swing sisihlalo esiphefumlelwe yiswing. Uyilo lu-arhulela ekushukumeni komzimba kwaye ludale ulwakhiwo oluguqukayo lokuphumla nokudlala. Isihlalo nomva wesihlalo ziyaguqu-guquka kwaye ziyalungiswa, ukwenzela ukuba zilandele iindlela zokuhlala nokushukuma ezikhethwa ngumsebenzisi. I-engile phakathi kwesihlalo nomva wesihlalo inokutshintsha ukusuka kwi-120 ukuya kwi-133 zeediگri. Ulwakhiwo yikhyubhu engu-61x61x61 santimitha. Umthi we-Oak usetyenziswa kuhlaka, iplywood isetyenziswa kwisihlalo nomva wesihlalo, kwaye intambo yekotoni isetyenziswa kwiindawo ezitshoyo-tshoyo. Intambo ecukumisekayo idala ukuxhathisa nomthi, nto leyo egcina ushukumo lulawulwa kwaye lukhuselekile.

- Iimpawu Ezizodwa
- Inspired by the swing, this chair aims to respond with human body movements and create a dynamic interaction with the users - for them to relax and play. The seat and backrest are flexible and adjustable in a way that they are able to follow users’ preferred sitting positions and their movements while sitting. It also has a minimal structure: seat and backrest supported by a simple frame (61x61x61cm), giving the seat floating and chair lightweight.

- The material here I used Oak wood for the structure, plywood for the seat and backrest, cotton cord for the swing, and rubber screw to connect the backrest.

- The hardest part of this design is to control the level of movement, which is affected by the design as well as the material. Allowing too much movement would cause a user to fall off the chair. The thick cotton cord has rough texture and thus create good friction with the wood, in this way, it allows the seat to still create movements but in a controlled and safe way.
- Inkuthazo
- This chair is inspired by the swing. I want to incorporate the playfulness and movement of swing into a chair which is normally considered to have a fixed angle between seat and backrest.
- Ubude Beprojekthi
- This project is completed in Copenhagen in 2017; the duration of design and production took around 2 months.
- Ukuhamba Komsebenzi
- Both the seat and backrest are adjustable based on user's movement. The angle between the seat and backrest could be adjusted from 120 to 133 degree (please see the image above).
