About Unvisible Landscapes Isibane

I-Unvisible Landscapes luthotho lwezibane ezisekelwe kwii-fractal ezinobungakanani obuthathu. Iimo zikhumbuza ngeendawo zesixeko kwaye zivelisiwe kwisoftware yokwenza imifanekiso ye-fractal. Ii-displacement maps zisetyenziswa kwiindawo ezingaphandle kwisoftware yokwenza imifanekiso enobungakanani obuthathu, kwaye iimo eziphuma kolu shishino ziprintwa ngefilament ye-PLA. Into nganye eprintiweyo ifakelwa ii-LED strips kunye nomthombo wamandla, ukuze i-fractal ivezwe ngendlela yokukhanya. Olu thotho lwenza izakhiwo zemathematika zibonakale kwindawo yesiqu, kwaye ziye zizise kwicandelo lobugcisa nokuyila.

About the Ibhaso Lebhronzi le-A' Design Award

Unvisible Landscapes Isibane ngumphumeleli weIbhaso Lebhronzi le-A' Design Award, ukuqatshelwa okuhlonitshwayo kakhulu okunikwa imiyilo ephawulekayo eyahlukaniswa kukuyila, ubukrelekrele nobukrelekrele. Abaphumeleleyo beBhronzi ziimveliso ezinobuchule obukhulu nezidala ngokumangalisayo ezingqina amava aphangaleleyo, ukucinga nokwazi ukuzenzela kwabayili bazo. Unvisible Landscapes Isibane iyathenjwa ukuba ibe yimpahla exatyiswa kakhulu, edunyiswayo nethandwayo enobungcali obuphawulekayo nezinto ezintsha. Lo myilo uphumeleleyo weIbhaso Lebhronzi le-A' Design Award ubandakanya iindlela ezilungileyo kakhulu kubugcisa, inzululwazi, uyilo kunye nobuchwephesha kwaye ugqwesile ngenxa yokunikela ingqalelo kwiinkcukacha. Unvisible Landscapes Isibane iyanelisa iimfuno ngokumangalisayo, ichukumisa iinqwenelo, ikhwebela iimvakalelo kwaye itsala umdla.

Unique Properties: 3 dimensional fractals that bring associations with urban landscapes generated in fractal generation software and then transposed to physical space by 3d printing and presented in the form of light.
Dimensions & Packaging: Model 1: Width 170 mm x Depth 120 mm x Height 26 mm
Model 2: Width 200 mm x Depth 150 mm x Height 16 mm
Model 3: Width 420 mm x Depth 320 mm x Height 15 mm

Production Technology: Fractal generation through Mandelbulb 3d software. 3d processing was made by applying displacement maps to surfaces in 3d modeling software. Physical objects were printed on a 3d printer with te use of PLA filament and then equipped with LED strips for lighting.
Design Challenge: This design is a part of the project 'Unvisible Spaces' with the aim to visualize and sonify 'unvisible' phenomena that take place in nature and introduce them to the field of art and design.
Research: Fractals generated by mutation of formulas and navigation in Mandelbulb 3d software. Then rendered and transposed into video, digital prints and 3d prints.
Inspiration: Objective mathematical notions must be thought as timeless entities and are not to be regarded as being conjured into existence at the moment that they are first humanly perceived.
