Malunga no-Jon Santacoloma
Jon Santacoloma is an industrial designer and the founder and design director of Ideilan Design, a Bilbao studio that has taken products from first idea to industrial production since 2000. In 26 years Ideilan has completed more than 400 projects for companies such as thyssenkrupp, ZIV, Gestamp, Sidenor, Solac, Metro Bilbao and ACTIVA Ingenieros, with awards in Spain, Europe, the United States and China. Jon combines design, engineering and business with a close network of local manufacturers. Ideilan also creates its own products, such as KGUARD, a patented waterproof key pouch that won a Silver A' Design Award and the German Design Award 2026.
