- The design research for the Lounge and Console Table Collection began with a qualitative study of the luxury yacht industry to identify key design elements and materials that could be incorporated into the collection. The research objective was to create a collection that would be visually stunning and highly functional.
- Inspiration
- Merete is a stunning Lounge and Console Table Collection that draws inspiration from the sleek and luxurious aesthetic of modern yachts. As the creator of this exceptional collection, my motivation was to capture the essence of elegance and sophistication that is characteristic of high-end yachts and to bring that into interior design.
My inspiration for this project was derived from the sheer beauty and design ingenuity of luxury yachts. I was inspired by the seamless way in which these vessels move across water and the sense of fluidity and grace that they exude. I wanted to capture that same sense of movement and grace in the design of Merete, so that it would appear to effortlessly glide through any space.
Throughout the design process, my thoughts were focused on creating a collection that would be both functional and visually stunning, while also evoking a sense of luxury and refinement. I carefully considered every aspect of the design, from the shape and form of the pieces to the choice of materials and finishes, to ensure that each element would work harmoniously to create a cohesive and captivating collection.
Overall, my goal with Merete was to create a collection that would transport people to a world of luxury and sophistication, evoking the feeling of being on board a stunning yacht while also serving a practical purpose in interior design. - Project Duration

These design features provide a more enjoyable and functional experience, making the Lounge and Console Table Collection an ideal choice for those who want a luxurious and comfortable space to relax and unwind.
