Nípa Kalky Ragged Fitila Ìdálọ́wọ́

Kalky Ragged jẹ́ fitila ìdálọ́wọ́ tí ó ní ìbòrí tí a ṣe láti inú bébà tíréèsìǹgì (tracing paper). A ṣe ìbòrí náà pẹ̀lú ìmọ̀-ẹ̀rọ tí a fúnra wa dá sílẹ̀, tí ó so àwọ̀-yíyà, ìríbọmi, ìránṣọ́, àti ìdìmú-irin (riveting) pọ̀. Ìlànà-ìṣí tí ó wà nínú ìbòrí náà ní ìrọ̀rùn gíga, nítorí náà a lè yí ìbòrí náà padà láti gba ìrísí fitila tí ó yàtọ̀ pátápátá. Yíyí padà nìkan nílò àtúnṣe ipò ìdìmú ẹ̀rọ tí ó ń mú ìmọ́lẹ̀ wá, tí yóò sì gba nǹkan bí ìṣẹ́jú-àáyá mẹ́wàá. Àwọn ẹ̀gbẹ́ tí a fi ọwọ́ ya nínú àwọn ẹ̀yà ìbòrí náà ń ṣàfihàn ìyàtọ̀ pẹ̀lú gígé tààrà. Kalky Ragged Fitila Ìdálọ́wọ́ jẹ́ olùborí Àmì-ẹ̀yẹ Irin A' Design Award, ìdánimọ̀ olókìkí tí a fún àwọn àwòṣe tó dára tí wọ́n pàdé àwọn ohun tí iṣẹ́ àti ilé-iṣẹ́ nílò tí a retí láti ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn ẹ̀dá tí a ṣàwòṣe dáradára. Àwọn olùborí Irin ń fi ìjáfáfá ńlá, ìmọ̀ pàtó gíga, òye ògbóǹtarìgì àti agbára ìṣẹ̀dá àwọn olùṣẹ̀dá wọn hàn. A retí pé Kalky Ragged Fitila Ìdálọ́wọ́ yóò jẹ́ ẹ̀dá tí a kà sí gidigidi, tí a gbóríyìn fún tí a sì nífẹ̀ẹ́, tó wúlò tó sì ní ìmúṣẹ̀dá tuntun. Àwọn ẹ̀tọ́, àwọn ọmọ ẹgbẹ́ àti àlàyé ìmọ̀ ẹ̀rọ tí olùṣàpẹrẹ pèsè.

Àwọn Ohun Àkànṣe: Kalky ragged is a lamp with a lampshade, made with the use of self-developed technology, which consists of manual dyeing, impregnation, as well as sewing and riveting tracing paper. The openwork structure of the lampshade with a high degree of flexibility allows the shade to be inverted and thus obtain a completely different lamp form. Reversing is simple and only involves repositioning the mounting of the light source holder. An important element of the design is the hand-teared edge of the lampshade components, contrasting with the straight cut.

Ìmọ̀-ẹ̀rọ Ìṣelọ́pọ̀: Self-developed technology, which consists of manual dyeing, impregnation, as well as sewing and riveting tracing paper. An important element of the design is the hand-teared edge of the lampshade components, contrasting with the straight cut.
Ìpèníjà Àpèsè: The biggest challenge in creating Kalky Ragged was finding a way to convey specific emotions in the product. The purpose of its creation was to present it at an exhibition on a specific topic. Finding a way to express emotions using hand-peeled edge treatment of the components resulted in a visually appealing object that was eventually implemented as a product.
Ìmísí: The main inspiration of this design was self-developed technology and material created with use of it. Its characteristics became the basis for creating a flexible spatial structure, constituting the basis for creating a lamp with a seemingly traditional form, the main idea of which was to change the shape in the simplest possible way.
Àkókò Iṣẹ́ Àkànṣe: The Kalky Ragged project started in February 2022, made especially for the exhibition Nie!Pokoj, as the joint appeal of artists and designers for peace in Ukraine. The exhibition at the Academic Center of Design in Łódź took place from 08.03 to 31.05.2022. Next Kalky Ragged was included to the Bozzetti collection.
Ìlànà Ìṣiṣẹ́: Kalky ragged is a reversible lamp. Flipping is simple and only requires changing the mounting position of the light source holder. It takes about 10 seconds and allows the user to choose the preferred shape of the lampshade.
