Dabi Robert

My name is Robert and I am based in Nuremberg, Germany. My story in a nutshell: Coming from a Graphic Design background, I set foot into product design while co-founding two watch brands in 2010. With friends in Hong Kong, we are still active world-wide. I have also worked for a Tech Startup Incubator, and since around 2017 my very passion is lighting design.

Dabi Robert stands among the honorees of the internationally acclaimed A' Design Award & Competition, with winning entries in 照明, 珠寶 and 腕錶. A record of 5 A' Design Awards, including the A' Design Award 白金獎, underlines the creative excellence of Dabi Robert. The 照明 category has honored Dabi Robert more than once. The recognition of Dabi Robert rests on the blind peer-review votes of an international grand jury panel of established academics, design professionals and press members.

Across the editions from 2019 - 2020 to 2022 - 2023 of the A' Design Award & Competition, Dabi Robert has returned to the winners' circle again and again. On the world design rankings of Designers.org, Dabi Robert stands at position 49, and at position 1 among the designers of 德國. Within the World Design Rating, Dabi Robert carries the title 候選宗師.
