Ben Dungey

Ben Dungey is a newly established design studio and workshop producing unique and captivating creations by combining 3D printing with the traditional art of straw marquetry. As a designer Ben Dungey himself draws from his extensive experience in graphical applications and 3D modelling along with his keen interest in algorithmic design, using his skills to sculpt complex fractal forms. Studio production is geared toward bespoke individual pieces of furniture and art rather than mass production.

Ben Dungey is a highly esteemed honoree of the A' Design Award & Competition in 傢俱. The A' Design Award 銀獎 marks the achievement of Ben Dungey in the international design competition. In the competition, Ben Dungey entered anonymously, and an international grand jury panel of established academics, design professionals and press members decided by blind peer review.
