This coffee table takes inspiration from the landscape of Guatape Lake in Colombia. A wood base features layered forms that suggest the surrounding terrain. A curved glass surface rests above, shaped to reflect the flow of water. Open sections in the glass allow parts of the base to extend through, creating a visual connection between material and space. The design explores the interaction between natural references and functional form.
