Codice is 'n verpakkingsontwerp vir 'n wynbottel, geïnspireer deur Middeleeuse kodekse. Kodekse was handgeskrewe boeke wat voor die uitvinding van die drukpers gemaak is, waarin die hoofletters kunswerke geword het. Die etiket word op papier met reliëfs en stempelwerk vervaardig en word op 'n Bordeaux-bottel aangebring. 'n Vel verseëlde plantaardige papier omvou die bottel en dra illustrasies van die simbole van die wynkelder. Die papier word bo-aan met seëlwas toegemaak, sodat die inhoud eers onthul word wanneer die omhulsel oopgemaak word.
