About Dragon Primêre Funksie: Restaurant-binneruimteontwerp
Dragon is 'n restaurantbinneruimte geleë binne 'n finansiële tegnologie-kantoorgebou in Beijing. Die ontwerp beslaan 2500 vierkante meter en streef na 'n kalm atmosfeer gebaseer op natuurlike elemente. 'n Hoofuitdaging was dat 80 persent van die eetruimte ondergronds lê en geen natuurlike lig ontvang nie. Die natuur word dus nageboots. 'n Waterval en 'n poel word in gegote beton met digitale tegnologie gevorm, en koperse eendjies lyk asof hulle op die oppervlak swem. Privaat eetkamers herinner aan die vorm van 'n vallei, met plante en seisoene, en nagebootste lig ondersteun hierdie ingeslote areas.

- Unique Properties
- The Dragon Restaurant is located in the Financial Tech office building. A relaxing restaurant atmosphere with natural elements is sought. One of challenges is that 80% of the dining space is located underground and therefore there is no natural light. There is a balance between Financial Tech and nature.

- Nature is simulated: one by casting a "waterfall" and "pool" via digital tech. Some copper ducklings even "swim" on this cast installation. Because of the long cold winters, outdoor-waterscapes are not suitable in Beijing, but people love water features. Another simulation is to imitate the shape of a valley and various plants and different seasons in the private dining rooms which are without windows and natural light.
