The Design
About Formosa Sapphire شال گردن
فورموزا سفایر یک شال گردن ابریشمی است که با طرحی از قرقاول سوینهو، گونه‌ای پرنده‌ی بومی تایوان، تزئین شده است. این طراحی دارای ضربه‌قلم‌های دست‌کشیده، بافت‌های خط ظریف و رنگ‌های روشن است. این پرنده از طریق عکس‌ها و کتاب‌های مرجع مورد بررسی قرار گرفت، سپس با جزئیات کامل طراحی شد. اثر هنری به یک فایل وکتور تبدیل شد تا ضربه‌قلم‌ها و رنگ‌های اصلی حفظ شوند، و از طریق چاپ دیجیتال بر روی ابریشم پیاده‌سازی شده است. ابعاد این شال گردن ۶۵۰ در ۶۵۰ میلی‌متر است. هدف از این طراحی، معرفی پرندگان بومی تایوان به مخاطبان گسترده‌تر و ترویج آگاهی درباره‌ی حفاظت از پرندگان است.

- Digital printing with accurate colors, and print on silk.
- Design Challenge
- At first, all the sketches and paints are on paper, in order to print, the designer has to convert the original artworks into a vector image file. During the conversion process, adjustment work was time-consuming and challenging because the designer wanted to keep the original strokes and bright colors.
- Research
- Since Swinhoe's Pheasant is difficult to find, the designer observed the appearance of the animal through photographs and from the book Wild Bird of Taiwan, then drew the beautiful appearance of the animal delicately.
- Inspiration
- Swinhoe's Pheasant is a kind of endemic species in Taiwan. It is covered in feathers with blue color and its gestures are eye-catching and difficult to see. The designer was once lucky to see the Swinhoe's Pheasant in a mountain, and she was immediately impressed by the animal. She believes these birds should be introduced to the world. At the same time, people can also raise the awareness of endemic species birds conservation.
