About Bank Julius Baer Primêre Funksje: Feestlik Geskink

Boektekst: Ynspirearre troch de pau en de readkroande krân set dizze beheinde edysje fan de Sineeske Nijjierskolleksje twa fereare symboalen om yn ien ferienige ûntwerp. It gehiel omfettet in premium tas mei sinjatuere twilly, in taske, reade slûfkes rangskikt as in fûgel-en-blommekompoazysje, en in rôlkaart. In ferfynd palet fan libbendich read, subtyl goud en blaugroan moiré balansearret feestlike libbenskrêft mei bedimme ferfining, en tilt funksjonele objekten op ta dekorative keunst.

Production Technology
The collection is realized through multiple premium production techniques
Tote bag and pouch, Crafted from high quality textiles with precise print application to achieve the striking red and gold color collision and embroidered moire patterns
Twilly, Silk fabric with detailed edge rolling and pattern registration matching the main motifs
Design Challenge
Challenge, achieve cohesion across formats from tote to twilly, envelopes and scroll. The solution employs a modular system, peacock and crane motifs appear whole on larger items, cropped on smaller pieces, and spliced across red packets, with consistent color application to preserve visual unity. The design links twilly and scroll formats to honor tradition while remaining contemporary.
Research
Using visual cultural analysis, archival research, audits, and 20 interviews in Singapore and Hong Kong, the study identified auspicious symbols beyond zodiac signs and client gifting preferences. Peacock (boundless promise) and crane (longevity) motifs resonated. Clients favored usable, transformative items (tote, pouch), personalizable accessories (twilly), and displayable art (scroll, spliced packets). Enduring gifts increase perceived thoughtfulness and prolong seasonal exposure.
Inspiration
Inspired by Chinese mythology and ink wash art, this collection blends cultural symbolism with Swiss precision. The peacock embodies "boundless promise" for youth; the red-crowned crane symbolizes longevity for elders. A twilly wrapped handle nods to luxury scarf traditions, while the scroll format updates ancient scholarly gifting. Merging these elements with precision craftsmanship, the designs honour heritage while appealing to global clients who appreciate understated elegance.
Project Duration
January 2026 in Singapore and Hong Kong
Operation Flow
The recipient's journey starts with branded packaging. Inside, a Chinese scroll (the greeting card) sets the cultural tone. Unfolding next, the tote reveals a twilly on its handle, wearable multiple ways. The coordinating pouch encourages daily use, while the red packets' splicing design forms a bird and flower tableau when displayed together. The key innovation, these practical gifts transform into decorative art, the tote, pouch, twilly, and envelopes can be arranged as a museum like display, with the scroll kept or unfurled as wall art.
