About Nestwood Dealbhadh Taobh-a-staigh Gailearaidh
Is e Nestwood taobh a-staigh gailearaidh is oifis a chaidh a chruthachadh mar àite co-roinnte airson gnìomhachasan cruthachail. Tha an taobh a-staigh a' còmhdach 600 meatair ceàrnagach thairis air dà lobhta. Chruthaich dòighean dealbhaidh ginideach na cruthan organach san àite. Chaidh saothrachadh digiteach robotach a chleachdadh gus an geoimeatraidh iom-fhillte a thogail ann an stàilinn dhìonach-mara, gypsum le neart-glainne-fiber, marmor agus almain tolltach. Tha fàilteachadh le cumadh organach a' comharrachadh an dorais a-steach, le lochan bith-eòlasach beag air a chùlaibh. Bidh àrd-ùrlar meadhanach le ballachan air am brosnachadh le nàdar agus staidhre na mheadhan airson malairt bheachdan.

- Unique Properties
- The Nestwood Gallery is an oasis shared by multiple creative industries.
The design process uses experimental generative design to create an organic space. Each spatial detail is further fabricated with robots using the latest digital fabrication technology to replicate the complex geometry from the computer.
An organically shaped reception marks the entrance and greets the visitors, backed by a mini bio-pond: a mini-ecosystem is balanced by the atrium light, nitrogen, recycled water and minor species. The visitor is then welcomed by naturally inspired atrium walls, where a stair case leads the visitor to the upper level. - Dimensions & Packaging

Coffee Table: Robotic & CNC - Design Challenge
- The creative challenge is to realize designers full vision outside the industry's comfort zone. Manifold Lab experimented multiple digital fabrication method to create the full architectural scale space.
- Research
- Design research: generative design, NURBs, catmull-clark Subdivision
Material research: robotics, GFRG, stainless steel bending, laser cutting, CNC marble - Inspiration
- Mathematical forms inspire the organic office space that exists in nature - the design seeks balance between beauty and ration. Program wise, the oasis is aimed to be a creative exchange space for designers and creative industries.
Multiple experimental fabrication methods were explored before finalizing the design to realize the designers' vision. - Project Duration
- Project started in 2020 and finished in September 2022 in Toronto.
