About Unvisible Landscapes Lampa

Is sreath de lampaichean stèidhichte air fractalan trì-thoiseach a th’ ann an Unvisible Landscapes. Tha na cumaidhean a’ toirt gu cuimhne cruthan-tìre bailteil agus tha iad air an gineadh ann am bathar-bog modaladh fractail. Thathar a’ cur mapaichean gluasaid an sàs air na h-uachdaran ann am bathar-bog modaladh trì-thoiseach, agus tha na cumaidhean a thig às sin air an clò-bhualadh le filament PLA. Tha stiallan LED agus solar cumhachd air an cur air gach nì clò-bhuailte, agus mar sin thathar a’ taisbeanadh an fhractail ann an cruth solais. Tha an sreath a’ dèanamh structaran matamataigeach faicsinneach ann an àite fiosaigeach, agus gan toirt a-steach do raon nan ealan agus an dealbhaidh.

About the Duais Umha A' Design Award

Tha Unvisible Landscapes Lampa air Duais Umha A' Design Award a bhuannachadh, aithneachadh gu math urramach a bheirear do dhealbhaidhean sònraichte a tha air an comharrachadh le cruthachalachd, innleachd agus geurchuis. Tha buannaichean Umha nan obraichean gu math sgileil agus gu sònraichte cruthachail a dhearbhas eòlas farsaing, mac-meanmna agus tapachd an luchd-dealbhaidh. Thathar an dùil gum bi Unvisible Landscapes Lampa na nì air a bheil mòran meas, ion-mholta agus gràdhach, a tha gu sònraichte proifeiseanta agus ùr-ghnàthach. Tha an dealbhadh seo a bhuannaich Duais Umha A' Design Award a' cur nan cleachdaidhean as fheàrr ann an ealain, saidheans, dealbhadh agus teicneolas an gnìomh, agus tha e sàr-mhath airson an aire do mhion-fhiosrachadh. Bidh Unvisible Landscapes Lampa a' sàsachadh fheumalachdan gu h-iongantach, a' suathadh ri miannan, a' tàladh faireachdainnean agus a' togail fiosrachd.

Unique Properties: 3 dimensional fractals that bring associations with urban landscapes generated in fractal generation software and then transposed to physical space by 3d printing and presented in the form of light.
Dimensions & Packaging: Model 1: Width 170 mm x Depth 120 mm x Height 26 mm
Model 2: Width 200 mm x Depth 150 mm x Height 16 mm
Model 3: Width 420 mm x Depth 320 mm x Height 15 mm
Tags: fractal, fractals, 3d print, 3d printing, light
Production Technology: Fractal generation through Mandelbulb 3d software. 3d processing was made by applying displacement maps to surfaces in 3d modeling software. Physical objects were printed on a 3d printer with te use of PLA filament and then equipped with LED strips for lighting.
Design Challenge: This design is a part of the project 'Unvisible Spaces' with the aim to visualize and sonify 'unvisible' phenomena that take place in nature and introduce them to the field of art and design.
Research: Fractals generated by mutation of formulas and navigation in Mandelbulb 3d software. Then rendered and transposed into video, digital prints and 3d prints.
Inspiration: Objective mathematical notions must be thought as timeless entities and are not to be regarded as being conjured into existence at the moment that they are first humanly perceived.
