About Awakening In Nature Tha Taigh Còmhnaidh
Tha am pròiseact seo a ’toirt a-mach coltas bòidhchead Oriental mu chruth-tìre a’ cleachdadh cruinneachaidhean de na stuthan togail. Fhad ‘s a tha iad a’ cumail suas an stuth bho stuthan nàdarra, bidh cuibhreann nam pìosan iarainn a ’beairteachadh na fèise airson na sùilean, bho chreig gu marmor, bho iarann dubh gu plating titanium, agus bho veneer gu bòrd fiodha; tha e coltach ri bhith a ’coimhead tro dhiofar lionsan gu aon sealladh de chruth-tìre. Anns a ’phròiseact seo, bidh àirneis Frangach le làimh a’ dèanamh cothromachadh inntinneach de Western and Orientals.

- Production Technology
- We use segmentation methods to create different visual perceptions of the stones, referring to the designated space functions. Integration of wood material in the study room represents a peaceful walk in the forest; the facade of the public space with marbles depicted being surrounded by mountains. Wood veneer, fluoric acid glass, iron pieces, and marble, also utilized throughout the entire space, which sustained the integrity of the design theme and ensure San-sui integration into the design.
- Design Challenge
- To materialize the abstract scenes from ancient Chinese arts by using modern design, the selection and usage of stone material become the main challenge. We have created a light and warm space for the project while incorporating a large area of stone in the design to present a coordinated and strong visual sense. Further in the design, the selections of different types of wood panels also enriched the expressions of the space and added a sense of softness and temperateness echoing to characteristics of the owner.
- Research
- The whole project based on the affection of the owner to the Mother Nature, in an artistic interpretation way, or in short, Sansui. We selected natural materials and integrated the unprocessed simplicity and retained texture to the space. Further we used the ambient lighting to enhance the natural atmosphere, creating a space, allowing the owner and the guests to relax and refresh with imaginations.
- Inspiration
- The imagery of the San-sui (Landscape in Mandarin) has always been the standard of the aesthetics of the Orientals. It represents the perception of the mind state and the art taste. It is also the embodiment of the peace of mind.
- Project Duration
- The project started in January 2018 and finished in June 2018 in Taipei,Taiwan.
- Operation Flow
- The installment of the iron pieces divides and enriches the visual extension, from stone to marble, from black iron to titanium plating, and from veneer to wooden table; it is like changing the lense and the focus depth of a beautiful landscape. In this project, we selected a distinctive French furniture to make a perfect balance of Western and Orientals, the heavy and the light.
