Noiʻi: This limited edition gift box celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France combines the essence of Eastern and Western aesthetics. Inspired by classical Chinese food boxes and the prevalent Chinese style in 18th century Europe, it is made of environmentally friendly cardboard material. The ribbon lines on the box decoration are inspired by the Panpan logo, symbolizing the bond of cultural exchange. The overall design is like a precious gift and a cultural bridge, interpreting the friendship between China and France through design language.
Hoʻoulu Manaʻo: The design of the appearance is inspired by ancient Chinese food boxes, and the gift box style is inspired by the Chinoiserie style that was popular in Europe in the 18th century, incorporating famous Chinese and French attractions and elements. The curved opening line is inspired by the line elements of the Panpan logo, and its shape is also like a ribbon, connecting the Chinese and French elements in the illustration.
Ka Lōʻihi o ka Papahana: The project started in May 2024 in Beijing and finished in August 2024 in Beijing.
Kaʻina Hana: The opening lines of the gift box are curved, dividing the illustration into two parts to show more details. The gift box opens with a flip lid and is fixed with magnets.
