Modern production techniques combined with traditional methods ensured accurate dimensions and material cohesion. Innovative detailing, including the bread inspired door, reinforces the brand identity and technical excellence.
- Design Challenge
- The greatest creative challenge was transforming a constrained, repurposed garage into a vibrant, functional bakery that honors local heritage. The bread shaped entrance symbolizes his passion, while reclaimed materials reinforce sustainability. The space blends tradition with modernity, inviting customers to experience the warmth of home and dedication to artisanal baking.
- Project Duration
- The project commenced in June 2022 in Magong, Penghu County, Taiwan and was completed on September 15, 2022. Over a focused period of more than three months, a former garage was transformed into Slow Bakery an adaptive reuse project that blends modern design with local heritage, showcasing the owner's passion and artisanal spirit.
