About Hiroshima Dentetsu Handklæði
Þetta minjagripahandklæði, sem selt er í Hiroshima í Japan, hefur djúpa tengingu við sögu borgarinnar í kjölfar atómsprengju árásarinnar. Það er framleitt úr endurunnum origami krönum, sem tákna frið, og umbreytt í rayon þræði. Hönnunin býður upp á tvær útgáfur: ein með sporvagnsnúmerum sem birtast í gegnum gat, og önnur með letri sem myndar tröppur þegar handklæðið er opnað. Mynstur handklæðisins táknar prefektúrutré Hiroshima, hlyninn, og litirnir líkja eftir hönnun sporvagnsins. Þessir hlutir fela í sér anda Hiroshima og miðla ósk um frið.

- Production Technology
- This product is made by reusing origami cranes donated to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and processing them into rayon thread.
It is a souvenir that prays for peace, and has a concept unique to Hiroshima. - Design Challenge
- "The most challenging aspect was creating the package on a single A3-sized sheet of paper. It was necessary to reduce costs. The problem is how to create an appealing package design using just one sheet of paper. Specifically, it was difficult to manually create the layered and staircase-like structure of the paper. By making holes, you can show the material of the towel.
