Olka er handunnin saumlaus leðurtaska sem er innblásin af óafturkræfum fólksflutningum frá Íran. Hún samanstendur af 54 móðulbundnum stykkjum úr ekta nautaleðri sem læsast saman. Þessi flétting er gerð í gegnum rifur sem eru skornar í leðrið með leysi. Mál hennar eru 220 x 220 x 80 mm. Handfang töskunnar er úr valhnetu. Hönnunaráskorun: The main challenge in creating this product was whether the final strength of the interlocked components would be equal to the stitching and whether the main bag could be delivered to the customer in the separated pieces, so that she could create the bag herself by interlocking them together.
Rannsóknir: In the process of design and creation, research was done in the field of interlocking system, modular system, consumer behavior, DIY products and the migration rate of youth Iranian which finally resulted in the creation of this project.

Olka means homeland in Persian language and it was created by the inspiration of Iranian youth who immigrate with the aim of creating a better life. Migration brings mental, emotional and even physical pains, but pain is an opportunity for growth. In this case, every slit provides the basis for creating a new beautiful flower.
