- Unique Properties
- The design rethinks packaging for solar powered portable power stations without changing structure, materials, or cost. Original illustrations of global landmarks add cultural narrative and collectible value, extending the package’s lifecycle. The flip top becomes interactive bookmarks and a DIY album, increasing engagement with no extra resources. Maintaining a minimalist brand language, the scalable system transforms disposable packaging into a sustainable, experience-driven brand touchpoint.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- Dimensions: Width 225mm x Depth 197.5mm x Height 129 mm
Material: 250g CCNB, E flute corrugated board (140gsm liner 100gsm medium), matte lamination

- Production Technology
- The design prioritizes mass production feasibility, using an original illustration system and modular visuals for scalable series expansion. Vector illustrations ensure stable quality across sizes and printing conditions. Soy-based inks and standard offset printing balance color accuracy and sustainability. Interactive features reuse the existing unboxing structure, enabling tear-off and modular use without added processes, achieving design innovation while maintaining production efficiency.
- Design Challenge
- The main challenge was creating lasting emotional value for functional packaging without adding resources or complexity. Internally, this meant introducing cultural narratives within the brand’s visual system without weakening recognition. Externally, it required balancing cross-market cultural differences and ensuring mass production feasibility. The tension between creativity and practicality was resolved through restrained visuals and guided user interactions.
- Research
- Research Type: Design driven applied research.
Objective: Extend consumer electronics packaging value and emotional lifecycle without extra resources.
Method: Case analysis, user observation, scenario simulation, unboxing records, and internal reviews.
Participants: Users across markets and internal teams.
Results: Reusable structures and cultural narratives boost retention, making packaging a sustainable, long term brand touchpoint. - Inspiration
- This project reflects on the industry habit of discarding functional packaging after use. Without changing structure, materials, or cost, the design adds lasting value and emotional meaning, turning packaging into a sustainable brand touchpoint. Inspired by the universal recognition of global landmarks, original illustrations and reusable structures encourage long term retention, extending the packaging’s lifecycle through design.
- Project Duration
- The project officially launched in June 2025 in Shenzhen, China, and was completed in February 2026 in Shenzhen, China.
- Operation Flow
- This design rethinks packaging after unboxing. Once its protective role is done, it transforms into bookmarks and modular keepsakes. Through unboxing, tearing, assembling, and keeping, users engage continuously. This encourages retention and use, extending the packaging life and strengthening brand memory.
