sidence offers a warm, refined atmosphere
that invites calm while embracing the quiet

Dimensions & Packaging: The residence features a layered material palette including oak, lime plaster, travertine, and textured fabrics. Large glazed openings connect the interiors to a private garden, maximizing daylight and seasonal interaction. Custom modular seating, handcrafted cabinetry, and sculptural lighting define the main living spaces. The layout is designed as an open flow between living, dining, and kitchen areas, enhancing comfort and intuitive use.

Production Technology: Four Seasons R01 achieves its aesthetic through the harmony of structure, finish, and craftsmanship. Oak, lime plaster, onyx, and textured fabrics compose a refined material palette, animated by daylight entering through large balcony openings. The emotional appeal lies in its calm, sophisticated atmosphere, where repeating rhythmic details create continuity and a subtle sense of luxury. The design highlights the dialogue between solid structural elements and finely executed interior details, celebrating artisanal skill in bespoke cabinetry, modular seating, and sculptural lighting. The result is a residence where elegance, function, and material honesty converge seamlessly.
Design Challenge: The main challenge was to design an intimate urban residence that balances contemporary comfort with the rhythm of nature. Integrating large openings and natural materials within a dense city context required careful study of light, privacy, and spatial flow. Another challenge was achieving flexibility without compromising elegance addressed through modular furniture, layered textures, and a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Research: Four Seasons R01 xplores how contemporary living can harmonize with the natural rhythm of the seasons in an urban context. The research focused on creating a calm, tactile atmosphere through natural materials, layered textures, and light interaction. Spatial flow was studied to encourage intuitive daily rituals while maintaining refined elegance. The result is a residence that blends comfort, flexibility, and timeless design, offering a sanctuary within the dense fabric of Istanbul.
Inspiration: Four Seasons R01 was conceived as a refined response to Istanbul's fast rhythm a residence where luxury and sophisticated living meet calm and privacy. Expansive openings, natural materials, and seamless spatial flow connect life to the seasons, while repeating rhythmic details create a sense of harmony and continuity. Design here is not only shelter, but rhythm itself: purposeful, elegant, and perfectly tuned to contemporary urban living.
Project Duration: 18 Months, Istanbul, Turkey
Operation Flow: Four Seasons R01 is designed with a seamless flow, where spaces transition intuitively from living to dining and into the garden. Large openings invite natural light and seasonal changes, creating a constant dialogue between interior and exterior. Modular seating and crafted details support flexible use, while subtle tones and textures foster calm interaction, turning daily routines into meaningful experiences.
