About Goldfinger Sambo fitsangantsanganana (Yacht)

Goldfinger dia foto-kevitra momba ny sambo fitsangantsanganana goavana (mega yacht) mirefy 65 metatra, manana endrika ivelany iva sy voasokitra tsara. Misy fitaratra mitohy amin'ny sisiny mandeha manaraka ny halavan'ny sambo. Io fitaratra io dia mampiditra ny fahazavan'ny andro ao amin'ireo efitrano lehibe anatiny ary manome fahitana malalaka ny ranomasina. Ny vatan-tsambo dia vita amin'ny vy natambatra tamin'ny fanjairana metaly (welded steel block sections), fa ny tokotany fahatelo ambony kosa dia vita amin'ny aliminioma mba hampihenana ny lanjan'ny tapany ambony sy hanatsarana ny fitoniana. Ireo varavarankely lehibe misokatra dia tohanan'ny rafitra voafantina tsara izay mitazona ny vatan-tsambo vy ho mafy sy tsy tantera-drano. Tokotany efatra no ahitana toerana fifaneraserana, efitrano fatoriana manokana ary toerana malalaka ivelany.

Dimensions & Packaging
Name: Goldfinger. Type: 65 m mega yacht. Length overall: 65 m, beam: 11,500 m. Construction: steel hull; aluminium upper third deck. Decks: lower deck, main deck, upper deck and open sun deck. Key feature: extensive full length side glazing for high daylight and panoramic sea views.

Production Technology
Steel hull fabricated in welded blocks sections, aligned on the building berth and fully seam welded. The upper third deck is aluminium to reduce topside weight and improve stability. After structural completion, all piping systems like fuel, fresh, grey, black water, tanks, hvac and electrical cableways are routed and fixed in place. Final phase: insulation and full interior outfit like bulkheads, ceilings, floors, furniture and finishes.
Design Challenge
The hardest challenge was integrating the full length side glazing while keeping structural stiffness, safety and buildability. large openings in a steel hull require careful framing, watertight detailing and compliance with class fire rules, while the aluminium upper deck had to minimize topside weight without compromising strength. The design balanced aesthetics, stability and production feasibility.
Research
Type of research: applied design research. Research objectives: define a 65 m concept with strong sea connection and balanced topside weight. Methodology: iterative exterior space studies and feasibility checks. Data collection and research tools used: reference benchmarking, 3D cad, naval architecture inputs. Results: full length glazing and lightweight upper deck strategy. Insights and Impacts: brighter interiors, stronger indoor outdoor experience. Effect: improved user comfort and perceived space.
Inspiration
Goldfinger takes its name from the iconic Sean Connery 007 film. Drawing on my experience as a mega yacht design supervisor, I develop new concepts where expansive sea facing glazing creates a direct, continuous connection with the horizon. The sculpted, low silhouette and long ribbon windows maximize daylight, enhance views, and balance privacy with a bold, contemporary presence.
Project Duration
The project was developed as a concept from February 2025 to January 2026 in Venice, Italy.
Operation Flow
Goldfinger is operated by a professional crew from the bridge; guests simply move through the yacht’s decks and outdoor areas. The large side windows bring daylight and sea views into the main interior spaces, making inside and outside feel connected. Daily flow is intuitive: arrival, social areas on main deck, private cabins on lower deck, relaxation on upper and sun deck.
