Wero Hoahoa: The hardest design challenge in building Hero is maintaining simplicity. Most productivity tools start with one or two niche functions but get clunky over time. With Hero, our goal is to continuously simplify and optimize as we add new features so the overall complexity doesn’t increase over time.

Another challenge is powering the entire app and its functions with voice actions and let users do more by doing less.

Whakaaweawe: Every day, we juggle priorities across apps and people. The average person spreads their life across more than 30 apps per week. Since these apps don’t work together, things frequently slip through the cracks or get forgotten. To coordinate with others, people primarily text, which easily gets buried (and forgotten). And when our hands are full, we turn to voice assistants, which are only useful for simple requests that don’t require a UI.
