Upcycling played an important role here existing support structures were carefully restored and historic furniture was given a new purpose. Old wooden beams and insignia were harmoniously integrated to preserve the authentic charm of the building and build a bridge between past and present.

The goal was to breathe new life into the building without losing the memories of the past. Upcycling played an important role: existing structural elements were carefully restored, and historic furniture was given a new purpose. Old wooden beams and insignia were harmoniously integrated to preserve the building's authentic charm, creating a bridge between the past and the present. Rangahau
Old town area in Ueberlingen requires careful handling. Parts of the building belonged to the old city wall.
Whakaaweawe
The lakefront location was central to the design, with the lake flowing into the interior. This was achieved through a thoughtful choice of materials and colors, especially in the bar area, where shades of blue reflect the water’s hues. Floor to ceiling windows offer captivating views, strengthening the connection with the lake. In the seminar area and vacation apartments above, the sensation of floating above the water enhances the visual and emotional bond with the serene surroundings.
Roanga o te Kaupapa
The project started in 2022 in Ueberlingen Germany and was completed in 2024.
Rerenga Mahi
The building was to be given a new lease of life without losing the memories of times gone by.
