The packaging employs matte black cardstock paper to create a calm, professional atmosphere, while the brand logo and key product features are accentuated through gold foil stamping and glossy finishing. This leads to a restrained texture contrast, suggesting an upscale position and avoiding frills. With its smooth touch and layered luster, the packaging improves brand recognition in both visual and tactile ways, embodying the reliability, durability, and exquisite craftsmanship of the products.
Wero Hoahoa
A big challenge was achieving a premium finish. After multiple testing rounds, the design team has ultimately selected matte black cardstock paper paired with gold foil stamping and UV coating, creating a sharp contrast between glossy gold and matte black for refined elegance.
Balancing visual consistency and clear identification also posed a challenge. The packaging employs a consistent color scheme and layout, with distinct text showing the product models, ensuring efficiency and orderliness.
Rangahau
Against the backdrop of a consumption upgrade in the tool market and an aesthetic awakening in high end manufacturing, consumer demands have shifted from basic functionality toward a blend of practicality, aesthetic appeal, and emotional connection. The packaging breaks the stereotype of tools being merely cheap and practical through its minimalist form, rigorous layout, upscale colorway, and refined craftsmanship. It conveys the idea that professional tools can also embody a quality lifestyle.
Whakaaweawe
The packaging draws inspiration from the minimalist aesthetics of high end industrial design and the understated color palette of luxury packaging. It is built upon a foundation of a clean, minimalist form and a rigorous layout, complemented by a classic color scheme of black and gold, highlighting the brand philosophy that even household tools can embody elevated aesthetics.

The project was initiated in the United States in December 2020 and officially launched in North America in May 2021. It subsequently debuted in Europe in December of the same year and entered the Chinese market in October 2024. Throughout this process, the packaging design underwent three rounds of refinement, with the current version being the third generation universal design released globally in December 2024.
Rerenga Mahi
The packaging takes the brand name as the key visual element, anchoring it at the visual center to improve brand recognition and ensure visual consistency across the product series. The product models and function identifiers are positioned above the brand name, while the brand slogan is placed below, establishing a clear information hierarchy. This layout aligns with the natural top to bottom reading pattern, creating a distinctive visual style and enabling efficient information communication.
