We have preserved the mottled walls of the building, with The rustic materials such as wood and cement make the whole space more harmonious.
Design Challenge: Keep the beauty of the old house itself, not destroy it.
Research: The power of silence radiates beauty that can not be carved by hand in a short period of time, even the most luxurious materials can not be presented. Designers pay more attention to natural properties in selecting materials Pay attention to the use of materials and space mottled natural sense of harmonious coexistence.
Inspiration: The inspiration comes from the fact that before starting designing, the designer entered the building and saw all of these mottled old walls, which were beautiful. He wanted to keep them and let other design actions set off their beauty.
Project Duration: The project started in August 2017 in Shenyang and finished in october 2018 in Shenyang.
Operation Flow: The designer made passages between several independent buildings, and each space was connected to each other. Guests could pass through each space through these passages without having to go outside to transit.
