About Moderna Maquina de tè
Moderna es una maquina de tè electrica concebuda per l'usatge domestic. Un colador tipe premsa francesa dins la teiera permet de preparar tant de tè negre coma d'infusions d'èrbas. Tres foncions son ofertas: un mòde de temperatura ideala pel tè, un mòde de temperatura ideala per las tisanas e un mòde bolidor. Una notificacion es donada quand la temperatura ideala d'infusion es arribada, e lo mòde bolidor s'arrèsta quand lo punt d'ebullicion es atench. L'acièr inoxidable es utilizat pels elements en contacte amb l'alimentacion per garantir l'igiena. La manilha compòrta de detalhs que favorizan una presa segura.

- Unique Properties
- The Moderna tea machine is a product developed with the aim of bringing functionality to the fore and offering a different experience to its user. With the french press strainer in the teapot, in addition to brewing tea, herbal brewing feature is offered. The product has three main functions. These; ideal tea temperature mode, ideal herbal tea temperature mode and finally kettle mode. Moderna aims to provide high performance by giving importance to the pleasure of brewing tea.

- The use of stainless steel materials always ensures hygiene in products that come into touch with food and strengthens the perception of healthy products.
- Design Challenge
- The innovative feature of the moderna tea machine is the use of a french press and the ability to brew herbal tea other than black tea. With its three basic functions and the temperature values defined on the keys, the product gives notification at the ideal temperature in the brewing process. When the boiling point is reached in the kettle function, the product gives a notification and ends the process.
- Research
- It is aimed to design a technological new generation product with current design and color trends. The product form is designed to create its own format language. The line of the product is inspired turkish culture. This product is a modern interpretation of a traditional ritual. With the material choice and color combination of the Moderna tea machine, the technological perception of the product has been strengthened and a new generation product has been created. The details in the handle form of the product enrich the general appearance.
- Inspiration
- A design language has been created to develop a product that can be controlled with an easy-to-use, understandable interface and is compatible with the environment in terms of volume. Today's consumption habits have been taken into consideration in the usage practice and reflected in the design. In this context, details that will support the grip ergonomics are included in the handle form of the product.
- Project Duration
- The project started in April 2021 and finished in November 2021 in İstanbul.
- Operation Flow
- The innovative feature of the moderna tea machine is the use of a french press and the ability to brew herbal tea other than black tea.
