The design and prototypes were crafted in Figma, focusing on optimal user experience and interface aesthetics. Prioritizing privacy, we carefully managed interactions and map details to respect beneficiary privacy, reflecting our dedication to a secure, respectful platform.

Through interviews and testing, we identified the need for a digital solution like "Light Up" to modernize donation processes. Insights from NALAM highlighted outdated methods, pushing us to create a platform enhancing donor engagement with real-time updates. Developing a persona based on young professional donors guided our design, addressing their desires for impactful giving. "Light Up" revitalizes the donation experience, fostering stronger NPO-donor connections and promoting meaningful philanthropy.

- "Light Up" emerged from a San Francisco hackathon in November 2023. After winning first prize with an initial version developed in a day, we deepened our research and collaborated closely with experts to refine the app. Within weeks, we enhanced "Light Up," preparing it for future development.
