Phephetso ya Moralo: Due to the limitation of the building width, the designer utilized big panels of fire-rated glass windows and doors to elongate the space and allow people at reception to look over the driveway for security purposes as well.
Dipatlisiso: Just like water is a recyclable resource, Wood and stainless steel are major materials to carry out the design concept which are also 100% recyclable. With environmental sustainability in mind, the designer chose light-colored walls to save energy consumption by requiring less interior lighting, and chose locally designed and produced tiles on all the floorings and walls to reduce the carbon footprint.
Kgothaletso: The residential building located adjacent to the road was called Imperial Envoy Avenue where the US Ambassador's residence and American Embassy were located. The rhythm of t public facilities space design is based on the idea of water. As the metaphor of time and traffic creates the imagery of transparency and reflection of flow movement.
