Production Technology
The design proposes the use of reinforced concrete structural systems combined with custom-made cabinetry, natural stone surfaces and warm wood finishes. Integrated lighting elements, concealed detailing and durable material selections were considered to ensure long-term usability, visual quality and ease of maintenance.
Design Challenge
One of the main challenges of the project was to create a contemporary interior atmosphere that feels warm and inviting while maintaining architectural clarity and simplicity. Balancing natural materials with modern detailing, controlling daylight and achieving visual continuity between spaces were key design considerations. The project explores how carefully composed lighting, textures and proportions can shape the perception of comfort in residential interiors.
Research
This project investigates the impact of light, material selection and spatial organization on residential comfort and user experience. The research focuses on how natural daylight, warm textures and open-plan living can enhance visual comfort and psychological well-being. The study also examines circulation patterns and spatial hierarchy in residential environments to improve usability and spatial perception.
Inspiration
The inspiration of the project comes from the idea of creating a calm and luminous living environment where natural light becomes a defining element of the interior atmosphere. The design explores the relationship between warm materials, soft transitions and open spatial layouts. Contemporary residential lifestyles, minimal yet warm material palettes and the integration of indoor spaces with garden views guided the overall design approach.
Project Duration
The project was designed in Adana, Turkey. The design process started in 2025 and was completed in 2025. The project is currently in the conceptual design stage and has not yet been constructed.
Operation Flow
The spatial layout was designed to support a natural flow between living, dining and kitchen areas. Open-plan organization allows visual continuity while maintaining functional zoning. Circulation paths were simplified to improve usability and create a seamless living experience. Social interaction areas were positioned to maximize comfort and connection with natural light and garden views.
