About Metamorphosis III Video Animation At Sayaw

Sa pamamagitan ng pagsasama ng animated na imahe mula sa mga kontemporaryong pagpipinta ng tinta, ang animasyong ito at interdisiplinaryong gawa ay nagnanais na pukawin ang isang transcendental na karanasan ng kosmikong puwersa, isang sulyap sa paglulunsad ng genesis. Ang mga Energies shift at sumabog upang lumikha ng katahimikan sa isang electric na paraan. Ang ilaw ay nagmumula sa kadiliman, na sumisimbolo sa espirituwal na muling pagsilang. Nagninilay ng isang paggalang sa kapwa espiritu ng Tao at ng Sublime, ipinagdiriwang ng gawaing ito ang mga dinamikong energies na nagsilang ng bagong buhay, mga bagong planeta, at mga bagong bituin.

Unique Properties: Through incorporating animated imagery from contemporary ink painting, this animation aspires to evoke a transcendental experience of the cosmic force, a glimpse into the crucible of genesis. Energies shift and explode to create serenity in an electric manner. Light emanates from darkness, symbolizing spiritual rebirth. Reflecting a reverence for both the spirits of Tao and the Sublime, this work celebrates the dynamic energies that give birth to new life, new planets, and new stars.
Dimensions & Packaging: 07:49 performance. The footages of the video animation are created by ink painting materials, a unique medium from ancient China.

Production Technology: Video animation generated from the unique medium of ink painting. This interdisciplinary work incorporates dancers and body movement with video animation projected on a 10m x 5m LED panel on stage.
Design Challenge: The synthesis of animated ink images, music and the body movement is the biggest challenge in this interdisciplinary production.
Research: Using ink painting to produce the footages then use Adobe Premiere for animation production. Work with choreographer and dancers to integrate body movement with ink animation.
Inspiration: This work is inspired by contemporary ink painting, Chinese calligraphy, cosmic force, dynamic energies, crucible of genesis, Taoism philosophy, as well as the spirit of the Sublime.

Operation Flow: This could be a video animation for exhibition and screening, and it could also be part of a multidisciplinary dance performance with video projection on a large LED panel on stage or in a museum/gallery installation.
