About Texts From Graphics Aklat

Ang Texts From Graphics ay isang aklat ng mga sanaysay na isinulat ng mga propesor sa graphic design ng isang programang unibersidad sa Mexico. Ipinahahayag ng mga sanaysay ang mga ideya at alalahanin tungkol sa disenyo. May binuong sistemang ikonograpiko upang gawing simple ang mga komplikadong konsepto na tinatalakay sa mga teksto, at nagbabago ang set ng mga icon sa bawat kabanata. Ang hierarchy, pagpili ng typography, at komposisyon ay nagbibigay-diin sa mga pangunahing mensahe at sumusuporta sa magaan na pagbabasa. Ang aklat ay naka-print nang itim at puti sa bond paper, tinahi ayon sa seksyon at binalot ng matigas na pabalat na may varnish finish, upang mapanatiling mababa ang gastos sa produksyon habang tinitiyak ang tibay nito.

Ang Texts From Graphics Aklat ay nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bakal, isang prestihiyosong pagkilalang iginagawad sa mga mahuhusay na disenyong tumutugon sa mga propesyonal at pang-industriyang kinakailangang inaasahan sa mga mahusay na pagkakadisenyong likha. Ang mga nagwagi ng Bakal ay nagpapakita ng dakilang husay, mataas na espesyalisasyon, dalubhasang pag-unawa at kakayahang malikhain ng kanilang mga lumikha. Inaasahang ang Texts From Graphics Aklat ay isang lubos na pinahahalagahan, hinahangaan at minamahal na likhang praktikal at makabago. Ang disenyong ito na nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bakal ay nagsasama ng pinakamahuhusay na kasanayan ng industriya at may mahuhusay na katangiang teknikal na may kasamang kaalaman at talento. Ang Texts From Graphics Aklat ay iginagalang dahil sa kaingatan nito at idinisenyo upang maghatid ng mga pagpapabuti sa kalidad ng buhay na tumutulong gawing mas mabuting lugar ang mundo.

Unique Properties: Texts From Graphics is a collection of essays written by academic authors of the graphic design program at UDEM, expressing their concerns around ideas held about design.

The concept summarizes the creative processes used to solve communication problems by developing an iconographic system that simplifies complex ideas, changing the set between each chapter.

The main ideas are highlighted through hierarchies, typographical selections and compositions; creating a dynamic and light reading.
Dimensions & Packaging: The dimensions of the book are 143mm x 12mm x 221mm.
U V varnish was used in the cover of the book.

Production Technology: The design was made in black and white, digital printed on 90 grams bond paper for a low production cost. It was used a section sewn binding method in hard paste to ensure the durability of the book and UV varnish was applied on the cover.
Design Challenge: The main obstacle of this project was the low budget available for the realization of the book. As it is a book made to praise the graphic design of the university high quality and formality was expected, using economical methods and materials.
Research: The creative processes and the design methodologies used in design were deeply analyzed in order to have a better insight of the topics dealt with in the essays, and to be able express effectively the conceps with the iconographic system.
Inspiration: The book originates from the need of the University of Monterrey to represent the graphic design program. The objective is to show the ideas of the professors of the university and the growth that the career has had through their professional perspective.
Project Duration: The project was realized in 2017 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, and was presented in the Vicerrectoria, de Arte, Arquitectura y Diseno (V I A A D) of the University of Monterrey.
Operation Flow: The typographic system created for the publication allows a better understanding of the essays. It is used as an introduction in the section covers to prepare the reader for the complex concepts expressed in the text; and along the pages as visual relief and support.
