About Irozuki Kalendaryo

Ang Irozuki ay isang kalendaryong pandingding na nagbabago ng kulay tuwing buwan. Bawat buwan ay nagtatampok ng iba't ibang kulay at ekspresyon, kaya't ang kalendaryo ay nagsisilbing makulay na palamuti sa loob ng isang simpleng interior. Kapag natapos ang isang buwan, ang natapos na sheet ay inililipat sa likod ng kalendaryo. Pagkalipas ng anim na buwan, ang lahat ng sheet ay sabay na ibinabaliktad at lumalabas ang pangalawang set ng kumbinasyon ng kulay. Anim na naka-print na papel lamang ang ginagamit para sa labindalawang buwan. Ang kalendaryo ay sumusukat ng 220 mm sa 260 mm. Ang packaging nito ay hugis-bulaklak at hiniwa mula sa dobleng papel upang mapanatili ang hugis nito anuman ang paraan ng pagpapakita.

Ang Irozuki Kalendaryo ay nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bakal, isang prestihiyosong pagkilalang iginagawad sa mga mahuhusay na disenyong tumutugon sa mga propesyonal at pang-industriyang kinakailangang inaasahan sa mga mahusay na pagkakadisenyong likha. Ang mga nagwagi ng Bakal ay nagpapakita ng dakilang husay, mataas na espesyalisasyon, dalubhasang pag-unawa at kakayahang malikhain ng kanilang mga lumikha. Inaasahang ang Irozuki Kalendaryo ay isang lubos na pinahahalagahan, hinahangaan at minamahal na likhang praktikal at makabago. Ang disenyong ito na nagwagi ng A' Design Award na Bakal ay nagsasama ng pinakamahuhusay na kasanayan ng industriya at may mahuhusay na katangiang teknikal na may kasamang kaalaman at talento. Ang Irozuki Kalendaryo ay iginagalang dahil sa kaingatan nito at idinisenyo upang maghatid ng mga pagpapabuti sa kalidad ng buhay na tumutulong gawing mas mabuting lugar ang mundo.

Unique Properties: Irozuki is a calendar which is changing the color every month and having the enjoyable mood like an interior.
As the seconds tick away and every season’s transition, the calendar lives with you through the year.
Every month the calendar shows different colors and expressions.
We wish every one of your lives turns colorful.

Production Technology: How to use
Step 1: When the month is over, bring the finished one to the back of the calendar.
Step 2: After 6 months, bring June to the back of the calendar.
Step 3: Turn over all papers together and the rest of 6 months starts with Irozuki.
You can enjoy the different colours every month after bringing a piece of the calendar to the back. 6 months later, another colour combinations will appear for you.
We could make this changing point by using only 6 papers for 12 months.
Design Challenge: The package design part was the most challenging point of this. We wanted to pack this calendar like a flower but it was very difficult to keep their flower shape because it must be hung.
So we designed a flower-shaped package’s basement with double cutting papers.
Then we could keep it like a flower on any display.
Research: We went to lots of stores and exhibitions related with calendar and lifestyle for researching about colorful calendars and products. And our friends’ houses as well, for researching reality. Then we figured out a colorful calendar would be able to be a colorful interior/product cheaper than stylish designers products.
We believe a simple lifestyle, a simple interior are very good choices. But we decided to make Irozuki as a beautiful spot color like a cool interior product.
Inspiration: We aim to make a calendar like monthly flowers.

Project Duration: This project term was from October 2019 to November 2019 in Tokyo, Japan.
