About Rhythm Eastern Sales Center
Rhythm Eastern is a sales center completed in 2020 in Shandong, China, with an area of 8334 square meters. The interior uses the Hundred Schools of Thought in Chinese culture as a storyline. Graphic decorative paintings present classic stories of the different schools. A palette of black, white and gray creates a calm and warm atmosphere. Local cultural elements are combined with ceramic pieces to form sculptural artworks. Soft lighting and environmentally friendly materials connect nature, space, light and shadow.
Li Zhang's *Rhythm Eastern Sales Center* exemplifies a contemporary approach to commercial architecture that elevates the retail experience through the deliberate invocation of sacred and ceremonial spatial traditions. The design draws upon architectural archetypes associated with places of gathering and contemplation, reinterpreting the basilica or hall typology through a distinctly modern material vocabulary that balances warmth and austerity. The soaring pitched ceiling with its rhythmic array of timber beams creates a sense of uplift and processional momentum, guiding visitors along a central axis toward a luminous threshold where interior space opens to the world beyond. The choice of materials demonstrates careful consideration of tactile and visual experience, with the cool minerite tones of stone providing grounding mass while warm wood introduces organic resonance overhead. Technical accomplishment is evident in the precision of joinery, the seamless integration of lighting systems within the architectural envelope, and the sophisticated handling of transparency and opacity that allows the facade to function simultaneously as barrier and invitation. - The local culture elements of Zibo Vanke Underground Club House are extracted and combined with ceramic pieces to form a new ceramic artwork. Display different shapes and artworks in the form of sculptures. Using delicate techniques to design an elegant space where luxury and taste intertwin, art and charm all balance together, in a sense, it transforms time into light, and is completely immersed in the changes of lines, angles, light and shade.

The lighting creates a soft sensory effect, taking in the quietness and tranquility conferred by nature, and is taken from a variety of environmentally friendly materials and green buildings to integrate nature, space, and light and shadow.
