About Glowing House

Design Challenge
The original houses electric wires and water pipes were very old and disorganized. In addition, this project was mixed with commercial use; there were no bathroom, no balcony, or any room at all. Therefore, separating public and private areas and creating a smooth flow is the primary work to do.
Research
This project is altered from an office space that is a terrace house situated in the corner, and has no partition; bathroom or balcony. Inspiration
This project is a terrace house at the corner, though it has natural light from both sides, the separating wall shared with the neighbors is unable to have open windows. Inevitably it will be dark corners in the space, thus, bringing natural light into the whole house is the main focus of the design. Also, this project is mixed with commercial use; therefore, separating public and private areas and creating a smooth flow is the emphasis.
