Production Technology: Minimalist finish using high-pressure laminated finishing. Proudly made from Indonesia's best woods and materials.
Design Challenge: Maximizing spaces requires expertise in order to make them fully functional and pleasing to the eye. I am striving to make the best aesthetic and functions for our clients.
Research: Research has shown that minimalist style interior can have a positive impact on mental health and wellbeing. By reducing clutter and simplifying the visual environment, minimalist designs can create a calming and stress-free atmosphere. A minimalist-style house assists its people inside in creating a more practical and safe living space, minimizing the likelihood of physical injuries. Moreover, such a design facilitates effortless cleaning and maintenance of the home. In terms of color palette, it has shown that neutral colors like shades of brown, grey, and black can create a sense of simplicity, elegance, and timelessness. Meanwhile, Incorporating local materials into the design can have several benefits, such as supporting local communities and reducing the environmental impact of sourcing materials from distant locations. It was proudly made using local materials from its plywoods, marbles, etc. Additionally, using local materials can help to create a sense of place and connection to the surrounding environment. Research has also shown that functional design is key to a minimalist home. By prioritizing functionality and usability, the design can create a sense of ease and simplicity in daily life. This can be achieved through thoughtful space planning, efficient storage solutions, and the use of built-in and loose furnitures.
Inspiration: As an Interior Design & Interior Architecture company, we are inspired by the beauty and culture of Indonesia, and we believe that incorporating elements of traditional Indonesian design into a minimalist luxurious home can elevate the interior quality of a space. Indonesian design is known for its rich textures, natural materials, and intricate details, which can all be incorporated into a minimalist aesthetic to create a unique and striking look.
Project Duration: The project started in May 2022 and finished in December 2022, and was exhibited in a local award in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Operation Flow: The wardrobe maximizes space and tidies up the room. Mirrors would make the room feels bigger than it actually is.
