Unique Properties: The Organic Application is an online marketplace with a focus on sustainability and ethical farming practices. Its features include transparent supply chain management, personalized shopping experiences, and convenient delivery options. Customers can also provide feedback and ratings on products and sellers, promoting trust and transparency within the community. The Organic Application offers a sustainable way to access organic products while ensuring clarity and trust in the supply chain.

Production Technology: The Organic app is built with modern software engineering practices and cloud-based infrastructure, utilizing React Native for the front-end and Node.js for the back-end. The app's security features HTTPS encryption and authentication mechanisms. Rigorous testing and user research were conducted to ensure functionality and aesthetics, reflecting the latest advancements in software development and a user-centered design approach.
Design Challenge: Challenging due to competing with established players, establishing trust and credibility, handling logistics and supply chain, regulatory compliance, user adoption, and ensuring security and data privacy. Overcoming these challenges requires a skilled team with a deep understanding of the organic products industry and the ability to navigate complexities.
Research: The Organic application's success is based on research to understand the industry, analyze consumer behavior, and identify market gaps. The research informed the development of user-friendly features and functionality that meets customer needs. The abstract emphasizes the importance of research in creating an effective application for the organic products industry.
Inspiration: The Organic application was inspired by a personal passion for health and sustainability, as well as the desire to support small-scale organic farmers and businesses. It responds to the growing demand for organic products and aims to make them more accessible while promoting transparency and accountability in the production and supply chains.
Project Duration: It started in Vancouver, Canada in 2022 and finished in 2023.
