About Episode Brand eXperience Design
Episode is a brand identity and brand experience design for a shared residential platform. The design is user-centered rather than supplier-centered, and it gives priority to communication with residents. The square in the Episode logo stands for a space that holds diverse stories. Logos, colors, typefaces and key visuals are applied across online and offline touchpoints, including resident cards and room numbers. The system is flexible rather than fixed, so each resident can complete the design with a personal story.

- Modern residential spaces are not just a resting place but a place of applying the values and tastes and, furthermore, aspects of one’s life. Through this identity design, SK D&D intends to break away from the concept of traditional residence and suggest a new dwelling place.
- Project Duration
- The project proceeded for 4 months in Seoul, South Korea.
- Operation Flow
- The design motif developed has been applied to resident cards, room numbers, etc. for customers and completed when they draw their own episode. SK D&D intends to provide a variety of new brand experiences to users through a flexible design rather than a fixed one.
- Research
- SK D&D has thoroughly analyzed diverse space share services, which are currently provided to customers, conducted interviews to find ways to create synergy through customer members coming together, and considered ways to visually connect customer experience elements.
- Inspiration
- Episodeis not only a living space but also a shared residential platform made with customers’ experiences and values. SK D&D develops the design by focusing on a design that can be flexibly changed and applied rather than a fixed design, on a touchpoint to express the characteristics of the brand.
