About Africolor Festival Prif Swyddogaeth: Hunaniaeth Weledol Gŵyl
Testun Llyfr: Mae Gŵyl Africolor yn hunaniaeth weledol a grëwyd ar gyfer rhifyn deg ar hugeinfed pen-blwydd gŵyl gerddoriaeth a gynhelir ym Mharis. Mae'r cynllun yn seiliedig ar y syniad o atsain, gan awgrymu bod yr ŵyl yn parhau i adleisio ar draws amser a ffiniau. Mae gêm deipograffyddol yn torri ac ailadrodd llythrennau'r teitl i greu rhythm bywiog. Mae'r hunaniaeth yn glir, uniongyrchol, lliwgar a llawen. Cynhyrchir y poster mewn dwy fersiwn gyferbyniol, un goch ac un werdd. Cymhwysir yr un system weledol i lyfrynnau, taflenni, posteri'r metro, baneri, bagiau cario a chyhoeddiadau cyfryngau cymdeithasol.

- Production Technology
- The first step of research is to make sketches on paper. Once I found the essential idea I continued the creative process on Adobe Illustrator, adapted to test different compositions. I cut the letters and duplicated them to create a vibrant rhythm. The different visuals of communication of the festival with formats as different as a poster, a kakemono or an Instagram publication were made via Illustrator and Indesign for the flyer and the brochure.
- Inspiration
- Africolor is celebrating its 30th anniversary this edition is therefore the year of reunion with the artists who punctuated the festival but also those of the contemporary Afro-beat electronic scene. The word that inspired this visual creation is "resonate" : the vibration of bodies souls and spirits over time, beyond borders... Africolor never stops echoing! Translated by a typographical game that makes the title vibrate, creates a joyful rhythm and suggests that the right waves are spreading.
- Project Duration
- The project started in march 2019 for its conception, and finished in october, and it was launched in Paris from november to december 2019, during the festival.
