About Carbon Research Hunaniaeth Brand

Mae Carbon Research yn hunaniaeth brand a grëwyd ar gyfer cyfnodolyn academaidd a sefydlwyd yng nghyd-destun niwtraliaeth carbon. Mae'r logo yn cyfuno delwedd y ddaear â strwythur atomig carbon i fynegi diogelu'r amgylchedd. Mae'r cysylltiadau llinellol yn asio lledredau'r ddaear â llwybrau electronau, gan awgrymu meddwl agored a chyfathrebu ehangach. Mae'r strwythur cymesur a chylchynol yn adlewyrchu cymuned academaidd gydlynol. Argraffir y logo cyfun ar gloriau'r cyfnodolyn a chyfryngau ffisegol eraill, ac mae'n aros yn ddarllenadwy ar faint isafswm o 20 wrth 5 milimetr.

Unique Properties
Carbon Research's logo uses earth and carbon atomic to convey ideas of carbon neutrality and eco-protection. In detail, we use line connections to merge earth’s latitudes with electronic tracks, which means bounds of thought and symbolizes more communication. The surrounding and symmetrical structure reflects the image of a cohesive academic community. Overall, the design conveys the brand value of an international, top-tier journal and reflects a sense of mission for the time.

Design Challenge
In order to express carbon, environmental protection and other elements while making the brand logo convey a deeper significance to help brand positioning, the selection of elements, how to match and combine them, and how to handle the details in the design process are huge challenges that require systematic and unified thinking by the design team.
Research
Research has shown that visual symbols with broad consensus can evoke a common memory and establish a unified perception of a certain figure. Earth is one of such symbols. besides expressing the concept of eco-friendly, the use of the earth as the core element of the organization over a long period of time has built a solid consensus in people's minds that they are socially responsible, international and reliable, which is the main reason why we chose this element for carbon research.
Inspiration
Carbon Research is an academic journal founded in the context of carbon neutrality. It aims to promote the cause of human eco-protection with an international, top-notch and authoritative figure. Based on this position, designers finally chosen the earth, commonly used by international organizations as the core element of the brand identity with the carbon atomic structure.
Project Duration
The project started in January 2022 in Beijing and finished in February 2022 in Beijing, China.
