About Leaf Roof 태양광 카포트

리프 루프(Leaf Roof)는 나뭇잎 형상의 태양광 패널 지붕을 갖춘 카포트다. 구조물의 크기는 5×7×3미터이며, 탄소섬유 강화 폴리머와 투명 태양광 유리로 제작되었다. 양면형 태양광 패널은 양쪽 면에서 햇빛을 받아들여 최대 5킬로와트피크의 전력을 생산할 수 있다. 생산된 전기는 아래에 주차된 전기차를 충전하고 가정용 전력을 보조한다. 연동 애플리케이션을 통해 에너지 생산량과 사용량을 실시간으로 확인할 수 있다. 나뭇잎 형태는 자연에서 잎이 햇빛을 모으는 방식에서 착안한 것이다.

Unique Properties: The carport features a unique leaf-shaped solar panel roof, standing out not just for its functionality but also for its exceptional design. This design is inspired by nature, specifically the efficiency and elegance of leaves in capturing sunlight.

The solar panels harness sunlight to generate electricity, providing a green energy source for charging electric vehicles parked underneath. This approach reduces reliance on fossil fuels and minimizes carbon footprints.
Dimensions & Packaging: The Futuristic Leaf-Shaped Carport, melds form and function in a groundbreaking design. This eco-friendly structure, spanning 5m x 7m x 3m, is constructed from carbon fiber reinforced polymers and transparent photovoltaic glass, housing bifacial solar panels that maximize energy capture. Capable of generating up to 5kWp, it withstands extreme weather while seamlessly integrating with smart home systems for optimal energy management. Packaged with eco-conscious materials and designed for easy assembly, this innovative carport represents a leap towards sustainable living, combining aesthetic elegance with advanced technological efficiency in a compact, user-friendly format.

Drawing inspiration from the organic forms of nature, the leaf was chosen as the motif for the design, symbolizing growth, renewal, and the cyclic nature of life. The dual-sided solar panels not only serve as a functional element, harnessing renewable energy from the sun, but also embody the principle of symbiosis, reminiscent of the leaf’s relationship with sunlight in photosynthesis.
Design Challenge: The creative and research challenge at the heart of the Leaf-Shaped Carport project lies in seamlessly integrating high-efficiency, dual-sided solar panels into an aesthetically pleasing, leaf-shaped design without compromising on functionality or environmental sustainability. This endeavor requires pioneering material innovations and cutting-edge engineering to ensure the carport is not only structurally sound and weather-resistant but also capable of optimizing solar energy capture in a residential setting.
Research: The research behind the Leaf-Shaped Carport delves into the intersection of sustainable design, renewable energy, and smart home integration, aiming to revolutionize how residential spaces interact with their environment.
