Fikarohana: This project was inspired by the J-class yachts designed in the 1920s and 30s to compete for the America’s cup. Although this concept does not follow the Nathanael Herreshoff’s Universal Rule of those single masted ships, Hera still wants to represent the same feeling and emotional expression of those vessels. The most advanced technologies, materials and production methods have been taken into consideration for this yacht, to best integrate future and tradition. The general design language is inspired by the automotive world, caractherized by tense and fast lines stretching across the whole length of the hull, to define the speed of the geometry in a minimal and yet sophisticated way.
Hera is a concept sailboat where the top racing performance are married to spacious living space on deck and inside, aiming to offer the racing experience at the highest level of competition and the cruising enjoyment in the maximum comfort.
Aingam-panahy: Hera is a concept sailing yacht inspired by J-Class vessels, the single-masted racing sailboats built in the 1930s to compete in the America’s Cup. This concept is a futuristic interpretation that celebrates these peak racers through innovative materials and innovative shapes.
