He tuakiri ataata i hangaia mō te tau toru tekau o te ahurei puoro e whakahaeretia ana ki Paris. Ko te tākaro i runga i te whakaaro o te ngaruru, e kī ana kei te haere tonu te oro o te ahurei puta noa i te wā me ngā rohe. He tākaro tā momo whika e tapahi ana, e tuaruatia ana hoki ngā reta o te taitara kia puta ai he manawataki ngangahau. He tuakiri mārama, tika tonu, kikorangi, harikoa hoki. E rua ngā momo pānui rerekē i whakaputaina, kotahi whero, kotahi kākāriki. Ko taua pūnaha ataata anō e whakamahia ana ki ngā pukapuka pārongo, ngā pānui iti, ngā pānui i raro i te whenua, ngā kara, ngā pēke kawe me ngā whakaputanga pāpāho pāpori.

Production Technology: The first step of research is to make sketches on paper. Once I found the essential idea I continued the creative process on Adobe Illustrator, adapted to test different compositions. I cut the letters and duplicated them to create a vibrant rhythm. The different visuals of communication of the festival with formats as different as a poster, a kakemono or an Instagram publication were made via Illustrator and Indesign for the flyer and the brochure.
Inspiration: Africolor is celebrating its 30th anniversary this edition is therefore the year of reunion with the artists who punctuated the festival but also those of the contemporary Afro-beat electronic scene. The word that inspired this visual creation is "resonate" : the vibration of bodies souls and spirits over time, beyond borders... Africolor never stops echoing! Translated by a typographical game that makes the title vibrate, creates a joyful rhythm and suggests that the right waves are spreading.
Project Duration: The project started in march 2019 for its conception, and finished in october, and it was launched in Paris from november to december 2019, during the festival.
