About Codice Ippakkjar ta' Flixkun tal-Inbid

Codice huwa disinn ta' ppakkjar għal flixkun tal-inbid, ispirat mill-kodiċi medjevali. Il-kodiċi kienu kotba miktuba bl-idejn magħmula qabel l-invenzjoni tal-istampar, li fihom l-ittri kapitali saru xogħlijiet tal-arti. It-tikketta hija prodotta fuq karta b'riljievi u stampar u hija applikata fuq flixkun Bordeaux. Folja ta' karta veġetali ssiġillata tgeżwer il-flixkun u ġġorr illustrazzjonijiet tas-simboli tal-kantina tal-inbid. Il-karta hija magħluqa bix-xama' tas-siġill fin-naħa ta' fuq, sabiex il-kontenut jiġi żvelat biss meta jinfetaħ it-tgeżwir.

Unique Properties: The Codex design is a timeless piece, which captures the meaning of the name loaded with content. The Codices were manuscripts in books prior to the invention of the printing press, in which the capitular letters became works of art in themselves.

Production Technology: Bordeaux bottle and label in reliefs and stamping. Sealed vegetal paper.
Design Challenge: A search of the ancient codex books to define the style and understand the hierarchies of the elements has been necessary to carry out the illustrations.

Inspiration: Working a classic universe in a cleaner and renewed way we get a timeless, dedicated piece, full of expressiveness and history. The graphics that are transferred to the paper tell the story of the symbols of the winery.
Project Duration: From June 2019 to January 2020
Operation Flow: A page that looks like it's ripped from an old code filled with symbols from the cellar, surrounds the bottle. The user must fix the paper to discover its content, since it is sealed with sealing wax on top.
