About Aava ምሕያዋት

መለለዪን ሳጹንን ዕሽግ ንሓደ ኣብ ሰሜናዊ ኤውሮጳ ጽኑዕ ሱር ዘለዎ ምልክት ምግቢ ጥዕና። እቲ ዲዛይን ተፈጥሮኣዊ ስምዒት ክህልዎ ኣለዎ፣ ብፍላይ እቶም ኣካላት ተፈጥሮኣውያን ምዃኖም እንትግምገም። እቶም ዕላማ ዝኾኑ ጉጅለታት ህዝቢ ተባዕትዮን አንስትዮን ኣብ ዕድመ 30ታት፣ 40ታት፣ 50ታት፣ ከምኡ'ውን 60ታት እዮም። እቲ ሳጹን ኣብ ወረቐት ብማት ሴሎግለይዝ ውድእታ ዝተሰርሐ እዩ። ግሉጽ ፕላስቲክ ድማ ንመእተዊ ተመሪጹ እዩ፣ ምኽንያቱ ድሕሪ ምንዳድ እቲ ዝያዳ ክቡር ፕላስቲክ ስለ ዝኾነ።

Unique Properties: Packaging design for AAVALABS, the Nordics company, with a Finnish twist. Honesty and Transparency are in the core of the company, so that is also portrayed in products design, that breathes Nordic purity and freshness.
Dimensions & Packaging: Box dimensions 65 x 65 x 112 mm

Production Technology: The graphics were illustrated digitally on Adobe Illustrator. Every product has it's own Pantone color and it's printed on offset printing machine.
Design Challenge: In terms of design, the challenge was merging different varieties of plants into one
Research: Botanical research, and research on raw stones and minerals were carried out for each individual packaging. Illustrations on the background were strongly influenced by illustrations from botanical books and encyclopedias.
Inspiration: A rough translation of Aava is “open”. The word has been in the Finnish vocabulary for centuries and holds a special meaning that can only be described by seeing an Aava Landscape. That is why the packaging design allows everyone to experience the power of nature for themselves.
Project Duration: The project was completed with a quick turnaround time of 1 month, in Febroary 2019.
