关于 Speech Bubbie 字体

Speech Bubbie 是一款同时适用于拉丁字母与汉字的字体设计。对话气泡是漫画对白中常用的图形惯例，而字母的形态本身也能传达书写中的情绪。这两种图形元素之间的关联，催生了以漫画形式为基础的字母与汉字新结构。笔画被简化为通用的对话气泡形状，同时仍遵循原有笔画的走向，因此可读性得以保留。该字体先以手绘方式完成，随后借助矢量软件制作。

设计挑战: To integrate figurative graphics into font strokes, first of all, we must achieve recognition, and second, we must convey the conceptual graphics to be designed.
研究: Speech Bubbie is a graphic convention used most commonly in manga books during dialogues. Similarly,fonts connote emotions in writing.Realising the connection between these two graphic elements,designers borrowed the form from comic books to reformulate the structure of alphabets and Chinese characters. Strokes are simplified into generic forms of speech bubbles while still following the direction of the original strokes,therefore retaining the readability of the character.
